Roger Stevens is a musician, author and poet. He lives in England, where he visits schools and festivals performing and running poetry workshops.
He is a National Poetry Day Ambassador, a founding member of the Able Writers scheme and runs the award-winning website www.poetryzone.co.uk for children and teachers, which has just celebrated its 20th anniversary.
He has published around forty books. His Apes to Zebras– an A to Z of shape poems (Bloomsbury) won the prestigious NSTB award. Other recent publications include I Am a Jigsaw, puzzling poems to baffle your brain (Bloomsbury); Moonstruck, an anthology to commemorate the moon landing(Otter-Barry);and Be the Change, poems about sustainability (Macmillan).
Roger also writes poetry for adults. As a singer-song writer he performs with guitar, mainly in folk clubs, and has played keyboards in several well-known rock bands. Recent solo albums include I Don’t Wish to Alarm You But, The Position of Jupiter and We Are Now Approaching Hassocks. He spends his time between France and Brighton, where he lives with his wife and a very shy dog called Jasper.

She published several folktale collections, including Tales of Superhuman Powers: 55 traditional stories from around the world (McFarland, 2013), and Dancing on Blades: Rare and exquisite folktales from the Carpathian Mountains (Parkhurst Brothers, 2018)
Theresa was born within the sound of Bow Bells to Irish parents. Out on the streets she was known as the ‘little Irish girl’, at home admonished for her cockney accent.
