Nana Tomova is a storyteller based in Sussex. She enjoys telling stories from around the world, and most of all she loves to tell stories about nature, transformational tales about strong women, and Bulgarian and Slavic Stories.
Nana’s background is in mental health where she worked as a pharmacist for a decade, and this inspired her to create the Story Apothecary podcast where she dispenses medicinal stories for the whole world.
As a Lowland Leader, Nana loves leading storytelling walks where she combines the gift of the surrounding nature with the wisdom of stories to create a magical experience.
Nana was born by the Black sea in Bulgaria and loves telling stories of the deep blue sea and translates and tells Bulgarian tales which have not been heard before. Nana tells stories at events, in mental health settings, at universities and in conferences.Her telling has been described as “An ocean of inspiration”, “Spellbinding” and people say that she “Has the power of making the audience feel in safe hands”.

A fortunate day spent on the trail with a park ranger who combined, poetry, puppets and folktales showed Bob the possibilities of the Storyteller's Way.

Antonio has received several awards and grants, including the once in a lifetime Circle of Excellence Award. This award was presented to him in 2015 by the National Storytelling Network for his exceptional commitment and exemplary contributions to the art of storytelling.
She published several folktale collections, including Tales of Superhuman Powers: 55 traditional stories from around the world (McFarland, 2013), and Dancing on Blades: Rare and exquisite folktales from the Carpathian Mountains (Parkhurst Brothers, 2018)
Theresa was born within the sound of Bow Bells to Irish parents. Out on the streets she was known as the ‘little Irish girl’, at home admonished for her cockney accent.
