Marion Leeper grew up in a family of actors, raconteurs, tellers of tall tales and downright liars. She has been listening to and telling stories (true and less true) for longer than she can remember. She’s to be seen in libraries, museums, and outside spaces in and around Cambridge, as well as festivals and clubs around the country. She is a long time member of the local group Cambridge Storytellers, and is currently involved in organising the East Anglian Storytelling Festival.
She has toured her children’s show, Stories in the Dark, to festivals including Beyond the Border and Festival at the Edge and has written extensively on storytelling in early years education. For adults she has recently released, with singer-songwriter Jessica Law, Lovers and Fighters, a concept album based on their remarkably contemporary take on the story of a sixteenth-century feminist knight.
