I am a storyteller and illustrator living in Cornwall where I am the Southwest area representative for the Society for Storytelling. I have been telling stories professionally to audiences of all ages and abilities for over 25 years, drawing on my background in street and physical theatre to breath life into the tales I tell. I particularly enjoy telling African stories and accompanying myself on the Djembe. Lately I have been working hard at promoting storytelling events for adult audiences in and around Falmouth. Having recently graduated from the Authorial Illustration MA at Falmouth University, where I began to investigate the darker side of greek myths, I am now busy exploring the connections between oral and visual storytelling and am delighted to have been asked to tell stories for the World Storytelling Cafe during this unprecedented world wide crisis.
