FESTIVAL DAY 2 – MONDAY – 20 JANUARY

The festival opening ceremony, our parade to the square and the start of five days of continuous storytelling in the square as we bid to beat our own World Record!

•12:00 PM – 1:30 PM : Tahir Shah, discusses his writing

•2:00 PM – 3:00 PM : Story round hosted by Cosmo Hardy

Les Etoiles de Jemaa el-Fnaa

• Piano Room  10:00 AM – 12:00 AM: Play and imagine (for kids) Nadera Rebbah,  Mohamed Harit, Nissrin Assamouni, Veronica Chambers.

• Douiria  10:00 AM – 12:00 AM: Masterclass: Laughter as medicine, crafting joyful tales for resilience. Delve into the the art of creating light-hearted uplifting stories that inspire hope and bring joy. Durgah Devi Palanisamy (Dee), Baden Prince, Brahim Daldali

•1:00 PM – 2:30 PM : Gathering of artists interested in collaborations. Chaired by Lucie Andersen Wood, Dawn Ellis and Maria Gillen  not open to the public

•3:00 PM – 4:30 PM : Festival Opening & press launch. Finding Bahja!

•4.30 – 5:00 PM  Gathering

•5:00 PM : Bahja Parade to Jemma el-Fnaa.
