Our curator John Row has been storytelling at Glastonbury for thirty years. In normal circumstances he would be leading the storytelling tent on the Kidz field this week.

The good news is that this year John’s tellers will be able to reach many more people broadcast through the World Storytelling Cafe. The technology behind the event will be hosted from Marrakech, Morroco going out to a truly global audience. Confirmed performers include Chip Colquhoun, Janina Vigurs, Clive Pig, Baden Prince, and Pauline Cordiner.

The proceeds from the hat for this event goes to the much respected Tony Cordy,  who created Glastonbury Festival Kidz Field in its present form and has kept it growing for over twenty three years bringing joy to tens of thousands of families, yet currently, like so many people unable to earn a living .
