Shilpa Mehta better known as ‘Shilpa Story Rack’ is a performance storyteller and an author based in India. As a bilingual storyteller, she tells stories to people of all ages.With story and song, she uses her voice to weave a little magic and a lot of love into her stories.
She has performed in various online and in-person literary festivals and storytelling events. Her fictional woven stories, retold folktales have found their way in various anthologies.
She frequently contributes to Talking StoriesRadio,East London Radio. She is also a featured storyteller on Obo- story mobile for audio stories. She is the reading champion for storytelling sessions with Pratham Books under the ‘One Day, One Story’ campaign in Jaipur to help inculcate reading habits in students with her read aloud sessions. She facilitates storytelling sessions in school and college.
