Carola Bambas worked as an actress for many years before discovering her love for
storytelling. For 14 years, she has dedicated herself with great passion to the art of
oral storytelling. She develops storytelling programs for both children and adults and
performs as an independent storyteller, primarily in the Munich area, Germany.
Five years ago, she co-founded the association „Erzählkunst Bayern“ (Bavarian
Storytelling Arts) with three colleagues; the organization is dedicated to promoting the
art of storytelling and raising its profile. She also teaches the art of storytelling at the
„Erzählakademie Bayern“ (Bavarian Storytelling Academy), offering courses for both
beginners and advanced students.
Another key aspect of her work lies in the intersection of nature, stories, and personal
development: Carola Bambas leads groups into the desert, the Highlands, and
various forests and mountain regions, and conducts storytelling seminars in Austria.
In these scenic settings, she combines immersive nature experiences with nature-
inspired stories, helping participants strengthen their presence and further develop
their personalities.
In all her endeavors, Carola Bambas blends acting, language, and imagination,
bringing stories to life in a way that is both vivid and deeply moving.
