Shelly Verma is a Performance Storyteller who believes in the magical power of stories to connect ,communicate to and transform people.Growing up in India, her first brush with storytelling was enacting the epic Ramayana for her grandmother.

That was just the beginning of her interest in Mythology. Now, she tells stories at libraries , schools, creative spaces, bars and even in the deep ,dark woods.

She reveres Indian mythology ,finds Greek mythology fascinating, has a blast sharing tales from around the world and loves scaring mortals with her spooky stories.And the story she shares today has a bit of caste angle to it but that’s not the main point of the story .
