Fiona Dowling, a French-Irish storyteller and visual artist based in Dublin, began her storytelling journey in 2001, learning from renowned Irish tellers. She became a professional storyteller in 2007, performing at festivals such as Cape Clear, Yarn Storytelling, and The Spirit of Folk. Fiona has also served as Storyteller-in-Residence for Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County in 2016 and Helium Arts and Health since 2010. She co-founded the Dublin ensemble “Story-O” and has developed several unique storytelling projects, including bilingual tales, Kamishibai stories, and interactive performances like “Tales on Wheels” and “Wisdom Fair.”
