The tales that transport me are often marvellous, sometimes absurd and realistic, always with a touch of humour. I like to tell ephemeral stories, to improvise for a particular event… For the pleasure of the moment…
Building my stories out of sandcastles, or squeezing stories into a spaghetti strainer…
I also like to interview people and tell their stories, like this testimonial show I did about prostitutes.
My favourite places for storytelling are chatty dinner parties and the cosy world of libraries, classrooms cluttered with school bags, and all those wooden boards…
And the earth, of course, all naked with the air around it…
Story walk in nature, in parks, on cobblestones, and in cemeteries where life speaks to us in a low voice under the falling stars…
